A Summer to Remember!

Forest Hills Lutheran Christian School is partnering with Group Day Camps for a summer filled with fun, faith, and friendship! All kids ages 5 to 11 are welcome. Choose any combination of nine weeks! Our day camp can be a highlight of your child’s summer or a total summer day care solution from June 1st to August 7th.

Written by the makers of the world’s leading vacation Bible school, the Forest Hills Lutheran Christian School Day Camp program was created to inspire the whole child—with activities rooted in science, art, games, skills, music, and more! Kids will stretch their imaginations, make new friends, and grow in their Christian faith through our well-rounded and dynamic day camp experience!

A Summer Filled with Impact

What does that mean?

It means that every activity at day camp was intentionally designed to stick in your child’s memory. For example:

Activity: Grow glow-in-the-dark crystals
Impact: God created you to shine, too!

OR

Activity: Grasshopper Tag
Impact: Practicing being bold and making new friends!

Unlike camps that focus on just one thing, Group Day Camps will stretch and shape the whole child—mind, body, and soul. Whether they’re with us for one week or the entire summer, your kids will experience something unforgettable!

We will work with each family on a case-by-case basis in the best interest of a child. We will make reasonable adjustments to meet the needs of all children, but there are limitations due to the child-to-adult ratio and non-specific knowledge of certain disabilities. We are not equipped to provide one-on-one care or address complex medical issues. Our primary concern is the safety of both the individual and all other campers relative to the camp programming.

Clear and specific parent communication is necessary to determine if Forest Hills Lutheran Christian Day Camps can meet the needs of a specific child. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Forest Hills Lutheran Christian Day Camps office for a discussion prior to registering your child. Forest Hills Lutheran Christian Day Camps will make a final decision that will be in the best interest of all involved.

Day Camp programming is provided by Group Publishing, Inc. They are leaders in VBS and other children's ministry resources. This environment will be comfortable for children of all Christian faiths and backgrounds. Our intention is to provide an environment in which they feel God’s love and can identify it as God’s love. However, we do not want children to feel any pressure as to the details (i.e. denominational differences) of what they believe. Our programming is consistent with the Statement of Faith.
